Now this is interesting. It seems Facebook has surpassed Google as the primary referrer to the large portals. It’s important to keep this in context; the vast majority of searches are not included here, but it does seem that the human tendency to transact based on recommendation genuinely is powering decision making on the web. We’ll be watching this space with interest as the purity and simplicity of a fast Google search gives way perhaps to more socially influenced searching.
