Account Director

Role Summary

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for the commercial management of a group of clients and manage and develop account teams.

You will have experience of working on blue chip clients and brands; you need a good experience of experience design and solid communications expertise. CRM skills would be an advantage. Digital experience is a must.

You'll be amongst the leaders in our business, contributing to the management of the Client Services team, plus leading new pitches and new business development activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Being a strategic partner to your clients in their digital activity
  • Building excellent relationships at a variety of client levels
  • Ensuring profitable delivery of work through effective cross-business/department relationships and processes
  • Ensuring quality and timeliness of work delivered to clients, including organising quarterly key account reviews with board sponsors and internal project reviews
  • Creating new business opportunities within an existing client base
  • Leading new business development, RFI and RFP production and pitches
  • Hitting agreed targets for the year.
  • Maintaining team motivation and retaining key team members

 

Key skills & experience required:

If you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • Digital experience is essential - in particular for blue chip clients (eg: telcos, large retailers with ecommerce)
  • Experience in digital display and online communications highly desirable, including rich media as well as standard formats
  • Good understanding of natural search and SEO, ePR/online PR, social media strategy
  • Experience of building strong client relationships and leverage these to unlock new business opportunities
  • Excellent communicator and able to help set client's agenda for their business
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
