Role Summary
LBi has a great opportunity for an experienced Business Objects Analyst to come in and within an exciting international team.
Role
- Create universes, reports and dashboards which leverage the full feature set of Business Objects to deliver information to meet user requirements with a focus on ease of use and intuitive navigation
Skill set
- Strong Business Objects experience including report building, universe design and development
- Ability to present universe topics to business users, accumulate feedback, and make universe modifications as required
- Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with VBA an advantage
- Ability to write moderate to complex SQL queries, read and understand complex SQL queries and utilize other SQL artefacts such as stored procedures and views
- Experience with Xcelsius and Maconomy considered a plus
- Strong knowledge and use of full life cycle development methodologies, standards and procedures
- Demonstrable analytical skills and experience of handling large volumes of data
