Conversion Optimisation Consultant

Role Summary

LBi are looking for a Conversion Optimisation Consultant who is passionate about improving conversion and revenue.

A Consultant with a strategic digital testing background with a strong testing skill set and excellent relationship management. Be capable of recommending optimisation solutions (AB/MVT tools, targeting tools), establishing and running an operational optimisation process within the client organisation, and demonstrate a proven track record of improving conversion and revenue. Be responsible  for turning customer data into actionable insights and designing optimisation strategies focused on improving site and campaign performance. Should also be technical enough to have an appreciation of the tools used, to communicate effectively with technical colleagues and with the client.  May have worked for an optimisation agency or for one of the major AB/MVT testing software companies such as Adobe or Maxymiser.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be an optimisation subject matter expert and centre of excellence for our clients
  • Provide technical expertise to our clients ensuring they have the most appropriate tool(s) in place, implemented and configured correctly
  • Design, develop and launch testing, targeting and optimisation activities amongst our client base
  • Champion the benefits of online optimisation internally within the company, and externally amongst our existing and potential clients
  • Performing vendor selection processes for optimisation tools so that our clients have the most appropriate tool for their needs
  • Create a business-case for testing and optimisation activities.
  • Develop and deploy a testing and optimisation framework within a client’s organisation. This should include a robust operating model between all stakeholders within the client, internally and the testing vendor
  • Create a robust governance structure that determines the correct metrics to be used for each test and definitions of test success and failure
  • Being responsible for the delivery of tests and ongoing optimisations for our clients that show demonstrable added-value
  • Develop, Design and prioritize tests

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a numerate subject (i.e. IT/Statistics/Computing)
  • Optimisation experience gained in an agency or vendor (preferred) or client side environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both business and technical areas
