LBi are looking for an exceptional Group Account Director (GAD) to be responsible for a portfolio of clients and direct line management of Account Director teams.
LBi are looking for an exceptional Group Account Director (GAD) to be responsible for a portfolio of clients and direct line management of Account Director teams. You will be a digital media expert, with solid experience across both display and search, and ideally social media. As part of this role you will be expected to be the senior digital expert clients go to for advice, and direction on all things digital.
Below is a summary of some of the key responsibilities of this role:
Team management:
Team leadership and responsibility of between 7 to 15 persons
Direct management of their Digital Account Directors â?? who in turn manage their own account teams
Key point of escalation both internally and for Clients
Overseeing the training, development and appraisal system for your team
Motivating and inspiring your team
Client:
Leading at a senior level multi-national client strategy and implementation of campaigns
Providing clients with strategic guidance on their online marketing strategies
Leading the account delivery teams to ensure deadlines and targets are met to the highest standard
Ensuring there is close synergy between all the channels we are engaged with
Heading the client relationship with key media owners
Growing and developing client accounts, meeting set financial objectives
Liaising and working with partner agencies involved with clients
Commercial and Operational:
Full operational control of team including:
Management of the finances of the team
Working to strict P&L guidelines and targets
Managing profitability of team and their clients
Learning + Development:
Responsible for the learning and development across the portfolio
Coaching, mentoring, and developing others within the team
Presenting at internal development and knowledge sharing sessions
Skills and experience
Applicants should have excellent account mangement experience in working in online marketing (preferably agency) environment.
Expert level knowledge in at least three of the following five disciplines when applying for the role â?? SEO, Display, PPC, Affiliates or Social Media).
A solid working knowledge of all aspects of online marketing including Mobile & Usability.
Ideally holds either the CIM or IDM professional qualifications
A strong background in people management within the agency environment
Google Adwords Professional
Experience of running large brands and budgets across multiple channels and ideally international accounts
Experience of running international accounts an advantage
