Role Summary
The role will focus on driving and measuring client performance, exceeding revenue and profit targets, growing and developing new client accounts.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you would be responsible for the overall direction and management of a large media client portfolio with the remit to set and drive the strategy and success within it. The focus will be centred on driving and measuring performance, exceeding revenue and profit targets, growing and developing client accounts as well as on-boarding new clients.
The role is the senior touch point for the clients within the portfolio so excellent client skills are essential.
The role is also member of the Media senior management team and will represent the agency in the market place as a leader in digital marketing.
Main key responsibilities:
• Delivering profitable work and meeting/exceeds revenue and profit targets for the portfolio
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships at senior levels
• Ensuring billing and financials within the portfolio are effectively managed
• Providing strategic advice and leadership to clients to meet business needs
• Business development including pitching to new clients and growing existing accounts
• Responsible for managing and developing a team of media specialists
Skills and experience
• Media agency background desirable but not essential – digital agency experience is required
• Proven experience of successful business development
• Commercially astute
• Able to think strategically about clients needs’ and turn these into actionable deliverables
• Proven experience to drive a performance culture and meet/exceed targets
• Motivated by developing strong relationships internally and externally
• A natural progressive people leader, capable of identifying problems and creative solutions
• Motivated to actively contribute to the wider business
