Role Summary
We are actively seeking a planner to join the team at LBi.
The Planner’s role is to ensure that a thorough understanding of the intersect between the world of consumers and businesses is realised at every stage of the communications planning process, and that information is simplified in order to deliver valuable actionable insight for the development of strategy and creative communications.
Key responsibilities
• Understanding the client’s business and brand in the context of the market environment, and the opportunities and problems it faces.
• Understanding of the consumer to deliver meaningful and valuable insight.
• Support/responsible for specific creative brief writing, delivering inspirational creative briefing sessions, evaluating creative concepts
• Ability to support evaluating campaigns and using results to inform future strategy
• Conduct and/or interpret market and consumer research & data analysis
• Facilitate and/or conduct qualitative focus group moderation & brainstorming sessions with internal teams as required
• Proactively identify client digital marketing opportunities that add value
Knowledge and skills
• Preferably some practical agency planning experience within a digital marketing/communications/ad agency context
• Insightful about people and their motivation
• Able to see both the detail and the big picture
• Logical and analytical yet a lateral thinker
• Able to identify and articulate problems, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Intuitive about people, brands and advertising
• Numerate
• Team player with good people skills
• Some understanding of brands and their brand values
• Ability to deliver to a high quality multiple projects to deadline
