Role Summary
A fantastic opportunity for a sharp thinking strategist to join LBi’s Strategy and Insight Department.
We are looking for a senior business consultant to work with our clients to help them understand how to solve real business issues using digital tools.
We are a global marketing and technology agency that brings together a diverse team of experts to deliver innovative digital solutions – including website design & build, mobile and social media – for leading brands such as BT, Coca-Cola, Lloyds, Marks & Spencer, Peroni and Virgin Atlantic.
Companies appreciate the benefits that digital channels can bring their business. But, overwhelmed by the complexity and variety of choices facing them, we find they are increasingly looking to a company like LBi, and our business consultants, to provide strategic advice, help them understand what’s right for them, and then deliver it.
The successful candidate will be an expert at providing strategic advice, and bring broad business consultancy expertise in project delivery and business development – this will include leading research, insight generation, strategy direction and organisational re-design projects.
The role includes developing client relationships through industry and solution expertise, identifying business development opportunities and then directing project delivery. The successful candidate’s expertise will create significant marketing opportunities for LBi through conference presentations and industry white-papers. They will also be responsible for mentoring and developing more junior business consultants.
Work may take place in both the client offices and LBi offices.
Qualifications and experience:
- Significant experience of a range of management consulting engagements or equivalent experience within a business
- Significant experience in managing a team
- Significant experience of directing multiple projects, or client accounts, simultaneously
- Significant experience of presenting at conferences and publishing white-papers
- Experience of International projects would be an advantage
- 1st or 2.1 degree from a top 20 university. An MBA is not required but would be an advantage.
