Senior Web Analyst

Role Summary

 

We are looking for an excellent Senior Web Analyst to join our Analytics team here at LBi.

 

 

The successful candidate will have a critical blend of technical and business skills required to cover a range of web analytics engagements with our clients. Required is the business awareness to ensure the solutions we develop for our clients are measurable by advising on data and measurement strategies that translate business and marketing objectives into KPIs and measurement frameworks.

 

You must be capable of recommending analytical solutions or working with our client's existing applications. You will be responsible for turning customer data into actionable insights and optimisation strategies focused on improving site and campaign performance. You should also be technical enough to have an appreciation of the tools used, to communicate effectively with technical colleagues at LBi and with the client, and if necessary carry out technical reviews and implementations.

 

Primary responibilities involve;

 


  • Being a analytics subject matter expert and centre of excellence for our clients

  • Provide technical expertise to our clients ensuring they have the most appropriate tool in place, implemented and configured correctly

  • Add measurable value to our clients through actionable analytical insights

  • Champion the benefits of analytics internally within LBi, and externally amongst our existing and potential clients

 

Additional Responsibilities and Objectives:

 


  • Defining measurement strategy for our clients; identifying data requirements to support measurement strategy/framework, defining KPIs based on business /marketing objectives

  • Perform technical audits of a clients web analytics capabilities

  • Implement and configure web analytics tools (e.g. Omniture/WebTrends/Google Analytics) so that they are optimal for our clients' use

  • Working with LBi and client technical and development teams to define the measurement and tagging specification

  • Development of reports, dashboards and analysis of analytical and statistical reports with recommendations

  • Undertaking site, campaign and customer analysis to evaluate success and deliver insight to drive optimisation programmes

  • Provide web analytics training to our clients and internally within LBi

  • To stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends developments and best-practices.

  • Be an ambassador for analytics within LBi and encourage its wider engagement with the agency other services and disciplines.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 


  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a numerate subject (i.e. IT/Statistics/Computing)

  • A minimum of 2 years web analytics experience gained in an agency (preferred) or client side environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both business and technical areas
