Role Summary
LBi are looking for a Web Manager to play a vital role within the Marketing team.
You will responsible for using the agency’s owned media platforms highlighting LBi’s work and initiatives managing its through its websites and social media platforms as well as overseeing the creation of unique content and assets to support our brand and marketing initiatives.
The Web Manager will be responsible for managing LBi’s websites (UK and global), as well as its social media properties. This will involve developing and implementing content strategies to ensure LBi’s web and social media platforms are continuously up-to-date, cutting-edge and fully support the needs of the UK and global business. This will include overseeing the sourcing and creation of original written content, images and sophisticated multi-media assets. The Web Manager will be expected to regularly produce a mix of audio-visual assets to leverage LBi events across multiple digital platforms. The successful candidate will sit within the LBi Marketing team and will report to the Brand Engagement Director. They will have a unique and varied mix of skills and expertise.
2. Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure daily updating of lbi.co.uk and lbi.com site with content and assets (press releases, case studies, blogs, images, audio-visual files etc)
- Writing articles in journalistic fashion
- Daily updating and curation of all LBi’s social media properties including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Implementing updates to hardcode and stylesheets behind lbi.co.uk and lbi.com site to ensure the sites remain relevant
- Work with Brand Engagement Director to developer digital contact strategy to drive marketing activities and initiatives
- Project managing diverse teams to ensure tasks are delivered on-time and of the highest quality
- Liaising with staff member in other network offices to achieve the above
- Policing LBi’s social media output to ensure all content is appropriate and reflects the brand.
- Overseeing the creation of rich and substantial multimedia content that supports the LBi brand and ensuring they are published and promoted across all relevant LBi web and social media properties

3. Qualifications and Experience
- Several years’ work experience working on news-oriented or major public-facing, content-driven and video-enabled websites.
- Some work experience working within a digital agency in a senior role essential
- A degree demonstrating interest in either marketing, multimedia content production or journalism.
- Advanced knowledge of current web standards, social media trends and best practices in copywriting for an international audience.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and generate creative content ideas that drive promotional objectives.
- Proven multimedia content and video production skills
- Proven written and verbal communications skills.
- Internal communications experience towards colleagues across a wide variety of departments and disciplines.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
- A working knowledge of Excel, InDesign, Photoshop, Word, Wordpress, Powerpoint etc.
4. Skill Requirements
Social Media Landscape
- Working Knowledge of the major social media channels
- Ability to update content to these channels (training will be provided where necessary)
- Ability to report on the effectiveness of the channels (volume of users, number of tweets etc, Radian6, Sysomos)
- Ability to make strategic recommendations on improving the quality and frequency of content updates
Communication
- Ability to communication clearly with all stake holders on both positive and negative matters
Project Management
- Ability to oversee multiple projects managing a diverse set of internal and external contributors and stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise activities according to importance, time sensitivity and lead times
- Ability to keep line manager and external parties fully up to date with progress and delivery
Technology
- Exhibits high-level knowledge of Wordpress, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop and social media interfaces
- Exhibits knowledge of multimedia and online video production and implementation (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, various worflows and online video platforms)
- Exhibits knowledge of updating and editing websites websites through CMS and hardcoding (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and other web-related languages)
- Exhibits knowledge of main Windows Programmes (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
