Front of House Assistant
Summary
We are looking for a Front of House Assistant. This is an important role supporting the Front of House Manager in ensuring we provide a first class professional front of house service to all clients and visitors to LBi’s office in Brick Lane. The administrator is critical in ensuring that catering, meeting rooms and office services related activities for client events are organised and executed properly. This role will also involve providing cover on reception on occasions and other office services related admin activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for liaising with client teams on catering bookings to ensure we are providing first class catering within the office.
- Ensuring all catering is set up properly and meeting attendees have everything they need to conduct a successful meeting
- Ensuring that any catering for events in the meeting rooms and the big space are organised and set up properly
- Raising purchase orders for catering as required
- Responsible for ensuring that all meeting rooms are set up properly at all times and that meeting room and cleared and reset immediately
- Responsible for ensuring that equipment is working effectively within the meetings rooms and any faults are reported to Managed Services team
- Able to provide assistance with equipment set up in meeting rooms
- Provide front of house reception support and cover on occasions
- Provide extra support with office services admin when required – this could cover such things as travel bookings, overall catering ordering, holiday cover etc.
Skills & Experience required
- Previous experience in a front of house/facilities role would be ideal including reception
- Effective in communicating differences found within documentation.
- Excellent team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Able to communicate clearly at all levels in a professional and courteous manner.
- A good eye to accuracy and detail.
- Polite telephone manner
- Displays a professional approach to work.
