What are we doing for Social Media Week?
LBi and Bigmouthmedia are supporting Social Media Week in London and Edinburgh with a series of sessions aimed at brands, graduates and social media experts. Eight events are taking place at LBi throughout the week including:
Tuesday 8th Feb
We’re running 3 OpenShops* at 10am, 12pm and 3pm.
Fancy taking a look behind the doors of LBi in Brick Lane in London’s East End? Come say hello to Europe’s biggest and most exciting agency that’s actively involved in social media and passionately believes in the age of conversation. Get a glimpse of how ideas for the latest social media activities are created, developed, launched and measured. Learn how social media is playing an increasing part in enabling brands to the engage their customers in meaningful dialog. Along with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.

A drop in centre for advice on social media strategies with our social media department. Places are limited so make sure you register your interest.

Meet the Blogger 11-1pm
A chance to meet the women behind the leading parenting and lifestyle blogs in the UK. Get answers to your questions, including: How should brands interact with bloggers? Is blogging over? What are the upcoming trends in 2011? What on earth is Cyber mummy 2011? What does it take to become a respected blogger? Can you make a living out of it? Got a question you want to pose – sign up now and be part of the conversation.

* The idea of OpenShop was first started for Internet Week Europe in November 2010 by Nick Farnhill. It’s an initiative that helps students, tutors and colleges get a glimpse into what working life is like within creatively driven companies and offer some inspiration that may help make the decision about what to do for a future career.
