LBi petition to save the dying bee population
LBi has created ‘BeeBeard’, a buzzy Twitter petition to save the dying bee population.
Tweet to add your petition to the cause @davidsbeebeard and for every tweet, a bee will be popped on to David Cameron’s virtual Beebeard. The Beebeard will also talk back to you with witty bee banter.
So honey, join the buzzzz and add your own bee to David Cameron’s virtual Beebeard and petition Number 10 to save our bees. We need 10,000 twitter signatures within 4 weeks – it’s gonna be a hive of tweets. David’s beard will tweet back witty bee banter and give tips on supporting bees in local communities and also initiatives people can get involved into support our lovely bees.
With the Government saving drive in full swing, we would like to remind government to support DEFRA, The British Beekeepers Association and others in their efforts into the global problem with honey bee health. The BBKA estimates that another £8+m of Government funding is urgently needed to finance a programme of research to confront the problems, but the results of doing nothing could be catastrophic.
Europe’s largest marketing and technology agency, LBi came up with this ‘buzzy’ concept to sting number 10. LBi also came up with the online social media and epr and it’s been coproduced by brand new agency Your Mum …. the first ever twitter campaign asking people to petition for more research into the declining bee population and a repository for tips on how you can individually help the bee population.
