The Relationship
We were hired in the fourth quarter of 2008 to run easyCar’s natural search optimisation across key markets (France and the UK). Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) has become a fundamental part of easyCar's marketing strategy over the last 12 months as their paid-for channels have become less profitable due to increased competitor activity.
The Work
We delivered a technical site review to highlight key areas to address on the site and coupled this with a keyword strategy to identify which terms would enable us to drive a significant volume of relevant traffic to the site.
The Outcome
Within ten months we have achieved position one for the search strings [car hire] and [car rental], resulting in a 40% uplift in traffic. Our SEO team has become an extension to easyCar’s internal team, working closely together to ensure our recommendations can be implemented to deliver maximum effect.
